At Oak Dental Associates, we are committed to giving your family the safe, gentle, quality care that will help you feel comfortable and give you a great smile. Dr. Chris Pallotto, Dr. Eric Osmolinski, and our team understand that some patients experience dental anxiety and may even avoid visiting a dentist for this reason. We work to reverse dental anxiety by helping our patients feel happy and relaxed at our dental office in Oak Lawn, Illinois. We make it our goal to give you one of the best dental experiences possible by providing comfortable care.

When you first visit our dental practice, we will review your medical and dental history as well as take X-rays of your mouth for our records. Dr. Pallatto or Dr. Osmolinski will meet with you in order to discuss your X-rays, answer your questions, and plan your treatment. If there is time remaining, one of our dental hygienists will clean your teeth, polishing their surface, and then check your mouth for signs of tooth decay and gum disease.

If you are visiting Oak Dental Associates for the first time, please remember to bring the following items with you:

• Completed patient forms, which can be found on our site
• Insurance card or information about the insurance provider

We may ask you return to our office for second and third visits if you need complicated restorative work. Our dentists may recommend mounted diagnostic study casts in this case, the cost of which will be included in a treatment presentation given by our dentists and treatment coordinator.

Always remember that regular dental check-ups are essential to maintaining the health of your smile for life. The American Dental Association recommends that everyone visit a dentist every six months because these routine check-ups allow dentists to professionally clean your teeth and gums while also making sure no oral health problems are present. We understand that many of our patients are busy, so please remember to plan accordingly for a 45-90 minute appointment.
